For Institutions
The content you paid to produce, finally compounding
You spent millions producing high-quality educational material and gave it away free. Today it sits as static files. No teacher can adapt it for their class without re-authoring from scratch. No learner can study it with a tutor. The investment compounds nothing. We change that.
An example
What partnership looks like in practice
Oak National Academy has produced thousands of free lessons for British schools. Today, those lessons are videos and PDFs on a website. Teachers can watch them but cannot adapt them. Learners can read them but cannot study them with a tutor.
Oak publishes their corpus to xLearnHub. Every lesson immediately becomes interactive, AI-tutored, and forkable. Teachers across the UK fork lessons, adapt them for their specific class, and republish improvements. Some of those improvements feed back into the canonical Oak version. The corpus that Oak paid millions to produce now improves continuously through the work of the teachers who actually use it.
Oak doesn’t pay the platform. We host their corpus free in exchange for the brand association and the seed content. Revenue comes from learners who pay for AI tutoring on top of the free content, with a share flowing back to Oak.
Both sides win: Oak’s investment compounds, and learners get the support that turns a static lesson into actual learning.
Who this is for
Institutions we’re building this for
OER organizations
OpenStax, Oak National Academy, MIT OpenCourseWare, OER Commons, CK-12, Khan Academy. Free educational content has waited two decades for the missing delivery layer. We are it.
Foundations
Hewlett, Gates, and other long-time OER funders want the content their grantees produce to compound, not stagnate. xLearnHub is the mechanism that finally makes that possible.
School districts & ministries
US states, UK regions, EU ministries, and education departments in emerging markets — anywhere with a public-good mandate around K-12 or higher-ed access. Bulk teacher and student seats under one bill: teachers get the AI-native authoring tool to remix lessons for their classes; students get an AI tutor on every page that’s grounded in the lesson, shaped by the teacher’s voice, and personalized to each learner’s practice history. Includes administrator dashboards and learner-progress reporting.
Training agencies & continual learning
Professional-development providers, certification bodies, corporate L&D programs, and continuing-education organizations. Your subject-matter experts use the authoring tool to convert internal materials, manuals, and recorded lectures into AI-tutored courses; your learners pay nothing extra — tutor access is bundled into the institutional seat. One bill covers both authoring and tutoring.
Universities & OER offices
University OER coordinators, libraries running open-textbook initiatives, and faculty who already publish open materials. We integrate with existing OER pipelines and add the AI tutor layer your faculty have been asking for. Faculty seats include the authoring tool; student seats include AI tutor access on assigned material.
Public broadcasters
BBC Bitesize, PBS Learning Media, NHK, ABC Learning. Public-service educational content already serves millions; adding interactivity and tutoring is a natural extension of the public mandate.
Public-good organizations in emerging markets
Pratham (India), Bridge International, African Library Project, and other organizations expanding educational access in underserved regions. Underdeveloped-region access is both a values commitment and a long-term focus for us.
How partnerships work
No upfront cost. Revenue share. Brand-preserving.
1. We ingest your corpus
PDFs, videos, structured course content — whatever format. Our pipeline converts every lesson into a fully interactive xLearnHub lesson with embedded AI tutoring. Your branding is preserved on every page.
2. We host it for free
No upfront cost to your organization. The platform fees are covered by learner-side AI tutoring revenue.
3. Teachers fork and improve
Educators can adapt your lessons for their specific class, language, or curriculum and republish improvements. The best improvements can be reviewed and merged back into your canonical version with full attribution.
4. Revenue flows back to you
When a learner pays for AI tutoring on a lesson sourced from your corpus, a share flows back to your organization. For non-profit partners, this can be redirected to fund continued content production or returned as a discount to schools in your region.
5. You get analytics that didn’t exist before
Per-lesson learner outcomes, fork lineage and quality signals, the questions students keep asking the tutor — feedback that improves the next edition of your content.
Let’s talk about your corpus.
We’re actively building partnerships with OER organizations, foundations, school districts, and public broadcasters. If you produce free educational content, we’d like to make it compound.
